Arcadia Celebrates Casa de Campo for 50th Anniversary of Our Luxury Resort
Casa de Campo, the Dominican Republic’s first resort, is a luxurious destination spanning eleven square miles. Our doors opened 50 years ago, offering world-class amenities, championship golf courses, and unparalleled hospitality. Casa de Campo offers numerous activities for guests. Golf is a major attraction, with three Pete Dye designed courses. Teeth of the Dog, the flagship course, is considered the best in the Caribbean. Other facilities include an equestrian center, polo pitches, tennis courts, water sports facilities, private beach, swimming pools, and a brand new spa, offering a full menu of pampering treatments.
The resort boasts eight restaurants offering a variety of cuisines. The La Caña Bar & Restaurant, surrounded by sugar cane crops, specializes in French-inspired cuisine. Casa de Campo also features numerous bars, including the relaxing 19th Hole, which offers stunning views across the golf course to the ocean.
Additional amenities include a marina with shops and a movie theater, and a replica 16th-century Mediterranean village, Altos de Chavón, which serves as a cultural center with artists’ studios, a museum, artisan workshops, restaurants, art galleries, and a nightclub. Our 5,000-seat Roman-style amphitheater, opened by Frank Sinatra, regularly hosts top entertainers.
